About Moxie Beauty Blog

During the conception of this blog I wanted to create a tool that teaches and inspires. I wanted to create a special place that can celebrate and inspire young women. Given the blessing of Intuition, the ability to bear another life, the ability to love unconditionally, a spectacle of beauty, and a deep connection to ones emotions and heart, is a Strength of ours that is commonly socialized as a weakness. These characteristics of our feminine since the beginning have subjected us as a moving target because many have subjected our strengths as weaknesses. 

A lot of changes have happened for us women over the course of the last century, we have our right to vote, we have the right to equality and education and workforce. Many women are now even the breadwinners of the family and to all the Single Moms out there raising their families (A proud tear and a cheer: "We've come a long way honey!) I have never been so proud to call myself a Woman and to be included in this amazing group of beings. 

With that said, I knew exactly the kind of content I wanted to share with these very special readers: Things that make us feel good, happy, healthy, inspired, hopeful, sexy and confident, things that help us embrace the Woman and her strength inside us all! I just needed a perfect name.  So a few days later it came to me, Moxie, and it was a perfect way to start a Blog, meaning force of character, determination, courage and strength of oneself. Moxie is the ideal lady and she celebrates her Strengths and believes in her gifts!

Food for thought, nutrition for our bodies, fashion for fun and good laughs are what this Blog is all about! My goal is that something you read here will contribute to aiding you on your journey to becoming the best person you can be. You are special and you deserve it! 

I'm on a spiritual journey to becoming an ultimate modern day woman warrior who can love unconditional both herself and others, be loved unconditionally, believe in oneself, respect oneself, love who I am both my flaws and perfections, and the courage to find and determine my place in the world.

Stephanie: About the Blogger

Hey and Welcome to ♥ M O X I E Beauty Blog! I'm 'S' (ode to Pretty Little Liars, real name is Stephanie hehe ;) and I love to Blog! I'm excited to share my knowledge/personal experiences with other women on my favorite topic: Beauty! I'm definitely not an expert by any means just another lady lovin' Makeup, Fashion, Glaming it up and girl talk :)

I have a pretty broad spectrum of interests. I'm not always such a girly girl, infact most of my friends would consider me a bit of a tomboy and a huge nerd (with pleasure!). I'm a Scorpio and I definitely match my sign (sometimes a gift, most of the time a curse). I'm 25. I love photography. I'm Swedish/German/Native American decent and I'm obsessed with Asian culture, art and food. Favorite food is Sushi & Mexican...mmm chips & salsa!


I'm reppin' the girls in the Gaming world. I play Xbox and World of Warcraft and League of Legends way too much! lol Halo 1,2,3,4 COD/MW, (nerdy talk). I love a big variety of music from Electro, Trance, Rock, Alternative, Classical and 70's/80's/90's. You can usually find me listening to Gemini/Glitch Mob or Blackmill Radio. I have an adorable Pug-child named Miyagi! Since I don't have any human babies he's my baby boy. ♥ 

I'm a huge Beauty product Junkie! I have tried thousands of products so I am excited to put out some reviews on my favorite stuff! I'm a Shopoholic and have a Shoe/Handbag obsession. My style is anything from Karma Loop, Pac Sun, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, Express, Nordstroms, Target, Ebay to Thrift Store. I have too much Black in my closet and I'm trying to lighten it up as I get older. I love neutrals with bold accessories. After spending $$$$$ on getting my hair done, I decided to learn how to bleach my own hair and will try and cut my own hair ect. ( I don't necessarily recommend this, but there's nothing wrong with it, if you're achieving the look you like when someone else won't or can't see your vision, though it upsets some hairdressers, it's perfectly acceptable. :) I'm a DIY'er kind of girl! I try to live through channeling the positive in everything and eating healthy is important to me :)

My Stats for Product Reviews:

SKIN TYPE: Combination Dry and Oily. Oily in T-Zone/Dry in the other. Occasional cystic acne moderate breakouts during TOTM.

HAIR TYPE: Beach Blonde, Fine/Damaged, Dry/Semi-Oily, Long, Straight, Layered (Long were the days my hair was naturally Brown, thick, and super healthy, how I miss my virgin hair!)

EYE COLOR: I had Blue Eyes, Blue-Green Eyes and now they're straight up Green. Weird right?

I try to be as dynamic as possible when reviewing products but remember that not everyone's chemistry is the same and maybe something that works for me, might not work as well for another person and visa verse. :)
